We strive to abolish ignorance through the education of
social inequalities to empower communities in India.
We give others the skills and tools to empower themselves - we are not a charity organization, we are an empowerment organization.
We have partnered with the Human Research Foundation to found the Mamta School. We are working together to provide funding, education, and vocational training to disabled children ages 5-19 who come from rural, impoverished villages in Gujarat, India.

In line with the United Nations' 2015 Millennium Development Goals, Aahana has developed the Angles of Awareness: A Global Initiative Speaker Series. Through an ongoing series of panel discussions, each event will target one of the eight development goals, shedding light on global issues and inspiring change.

Aahana's University Chapters are a network of dedicated students across the United States working together to educate, empower, and raise awareness. We currently have chapters at the University of South Florida, University of Illinois at Chicago and Loyola University of Chicago.
